SEO can be a great way to grow your audience, and in someways, it can grow it fast. However, the SEO that works the best is some of the scummiest, most disgusting form of blogging.

That said, lets see if I can pad the crap out of this post with tons of SEO crap. I'd like to see what happens, you know, as an experiment. Totally not looking to make anything of this post, just an SEO experiment (that'll probably fail miserably, and no one will ever see this).

In any case, SEO (Search Engine Optimization) is just filling key words into a post. You can do it in a scam-like way, where all you do is fill random words and have little to no meaning to the post. This is the wrong way to do SEO. The right way is to just write posts you want to write, and if you're half good at writing, people will find you. SEO doesn't really work for anything besides raw page views, which, unless your sole goal is to make money, is probably not what you want to do. Instead, if you write posts based on what you like, you'll get true fans who actually like you.

I blog, make Youtube videos, and livestream, not because I want to make money (money is nice, but having fun is nicer!), but I simply want to create a community of likeminded individuals who I can talk to, message, and even meet at conventions and such.

In terms of doing anything on the web, you have 2 choices:

1. 1) Put out a crap ton of content, disconnect from the viewer, and squeeze the most amount of money you can.


2. 2) Put out good quality content, connect with the viewers, engage, have fun, and you can make money, but you won't get super rich, and you wont be super quick.

I choose #2. All I want to do is write good posts as a release of my thoughts here. With Youtube and Twitch, all my videos and streams will just be me having fun and enjoying myself. I'm not going to try and build huge, complicated builds to impress people, or try not to die in a CTM map, I'll just have fun, and if my builds suck, who cares, if I die hundreds of times in RageCraft II, I wont rage, because it's all for fun.

Now back to the SEO experiment:
